About Your Trip

Only good things can come from combining experience and passion! Captain Zach and Nick are two brothers who have been fishing together there whole lives! As 2nd generation fishing guides, and Captiva natives, their experience is 2nd to none. The love they both share for the sport is directly reflected in their charters and with experience and enthusiasm, they know how to show their clients the best possible time out on the water!

Beyond superior
onboard service and company, Zach and Nick are the premier light-tackle fishing guides the area has to offer. They are experts at fishing Sanibel Island, North Captiva, Pine Island, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach. They know how to best fish the flats, bays, passes and Gulf of Mexico for Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Shark, Grouper, Kingfish, Cobia, Permit, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and other inshore and offshore varieties that either make SW Florida their home or are migrating along in the Gulf of Mexico.

Due to SW Florida’s amazing weather and fabulous fishing year-round, their calendar is always crowded. To ensure availability of the dates of your choice, we recommend booking at least two to three months in advance is especially during the spring and summer months. Book early for Tarpon charters as the season is short and these dates are the first to go. Remember, it’s often better to fish on weekdays to avoid the crowds.

About Your Guide

Captain Zach

Independent Guide
Captain Zach was born and raised on Captiva Island. Yes that’s right… an Island native. I’ve spent most of my entire life fishing off the waters of Captiva, Sanibel & Naples. My father was the head guide out of South Seas Plantation. He has recently retired after a historic career of over 40years (That’s a lot of time in the SW Florida sun). My older brother and I were helping him catch bait since the time we could stand. When we were younger we would spend our free time on his charters learning from the best of the best. This enabled both of us to outfish 90% of the guides on the water by the time we were 10 years old. When I was just 11 I received my first boat. Having this boat enabled both of us to venture out on our own to apply new techniques and find new fishing spots. My family and I take tremendous pride in the first hand knowledge we’ve established over a lifetime on the waters off SW Florida. My 2 brothers and I are now guiding the waters and sharing our passion with our guest.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
