About Your Trip

If you've been wanting to hunt some big fish with light tackle or fly gear, then this trip is your ticket! Join Captain Hunter on the calm inshore waters of Oak Hill, FL, and chase classic Florida gamefish including Redfish, Snook, Black Drum, Tarpon, and Spotted Sea-Trout on the flats, inner coastal, inlet, and beaches of this rich fishery.

Each of these species is widely known as a terrific gamefish that fights hard and will
really test your strength, skill, and stamina. You'll go after these fish using light tackle techniques, so bring your A-game—when one of these aggressive fish hits the line, you'll feel it! Captain Hunter is also full of expert tips and tricks to help you land that record fish, so whether you're a beginner or an advanced angler, you'll leave this trip a better fisherman than when you started. On this trip, you'll be fishing from the deck of his 16.5' Maverick Mirage skiff. She's an ideal boat for these inshore areas, with a relatively shallow draft and a 90-HP Tohatsu engine so you can get on the fish in a hurry.

Captain Hunter provides everything you need for a stellar trip, including rods, reels, and tackle. All you need to remember is proper clothing, sunscreen, and a pair of polarized sunglasses to spot fish. You can also bring a cooler with some drinks and snacks. Get ready to whack 'em!

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
