About Your Trip

Strap in for a real deal offshore experience exploring the deep water of NE Florida with Captain Matt. He will go above and beyond to make sure he puts you right on top of the fish.

After you get settled in aboard his 30' Sea Hunt Center Console, Captain Matt will crank up his twin 300 Yamaha's to motor anywhere from 15-40 miles offshore. Once you're out there get ready for some offshore trolling, bottom
fishing and fish catching! While trolling you can expect to hook into the likes of King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo and more, while bottom fishing can produce more Snapper species, a variety of Grouper Species, Amberjack and the occasional Jack and Cobia. Beyond the species listed, there are plenty more species the Gulf can offer up as well so you never know!

For 6 and 8 hour trips, you are slightly more limited by the commute and are usually restricted to less variety in your techniques and areas fished. 10 hour trips open a lot of doors to bouncing around different spots and targeting different pelagic fish like Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and rouge Tuna!

You'll be fishing aboard a 30ft Sea Hunt with a capacity for 5 people. Its twin 300 HP Yamaha's will get you offshore in a hurry to make the most of the time spent motoring around! It comes with the essentials such as GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, and an Ice Box to store your catches. Everything you reel in is yours to keep, and Captain Matt will happily clean any keepers for no additional cost!

Captain Matt will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait. All you need to bring is sunglasses, sunscreen, and any snacks or drinks you might need, and rested arms... hooking into these pelagic beasts is one thing, getting them to the boat is the tricky part!

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
