Spring into action with Captain Matthew on an action-packed outdoor adventure in Destin, Florida! Captain Matthew will help you catch Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), and even Yellowfin Tuna as you travel 35-55 miles offshore. You can also fish deep reefs for Scamp Grouper, Red Snapper and Vermilion Snapper (depending on the season), and Amberjack. For these trips, Captain Matthew uses a 42 ft Buddy Davis sportfishing boat. It has ample space for your group (6 anglers max) to have a five-star fishing experience. The boat cruises a hair under 30 knots thanks to her Twin Cummins QSM-11 engines which kick out well over a combined 1,200 HP. The list of features aboard this beauty can be fairly summed up as “everything.” Inside, you will find a full head (restroom), galley (lounge), and cabins with bunk beds, all blissfully air-conditioned. Up on deck, you have outriggers, downriggers, tuna tubes, live wells, a fighting chair, and all the rods, reels, and tackle you’ll need to have a productive day on the water. Captain Matthew will provide all bait and fishing licenses as well. Bring food and drinks for the day as well as a cooler to take home your day’s catch. Our team of 6 went inshore fishing and got plenty of mangrove snappers! The captain Chris was very informative and friendly. He took us to different spots to catch fish and get a nice breezy ride with amazing scenery of Florida keys.

We booked a 3/4 day after speaking with the captain the (plan) was made to shoot out deep and if we were not hitting them we would come in on the 3/4 day booking rather than a full day. Captain troy and his first mate worked as hard as I have ever seen to get fish on the boat. Not sure but at one time I think he had a deep running plug in one marlin plug and 4 top water trolling plugs so it looked like they were shooting for many different depths. We finally got into the mahi-mahi it was on. The first mate and captain maneuvered through 4 men as quick as humanly possible pulling fish off the lines and baiting hooks and handing them back. The only true way to explain it would be controlled chaos. These guys are GREAT at what they do and both the first mate and the captain seem to be fantastic people in there own right. So if your looking for a hard working boat stop here at Miller Time....

Our guide Nick is top notch, he is friendly, knowledgeable and certainly knows great spots to fish. We caught fish all day, brought home three very large mutton’s, some other mutton’s and good size yellow tail. We caught and released fish all day, hogfish, large groupers and other assorted fishes. Thanks Nick .

Great time on the water! Very nice boat with plenty of room. Captain and deck hand were great!

Captain Matt and his deckhand, Steve were very competent and professional. We had 8 lines out trolling for most of the 14 hour day. Steve even continued on with a good laceration on his hand from the first wahoo we caught. We landed two wahoos and didn’t get many more bites even though they had us constantly trolling with many lines in the water. Matt is a good fisherman and I’ve been out with many over the years. We would definitely recommend them as a competent pelagic fishing operation.

Had a great trip with a few friends. Trolling for the fish we initially wanted to catch was limited due to seaweed, but the captains were knowledgeable and adjusted for the conditions, and did their best to put us on some nice fish. It was clear they wanted us to catch fish and did everything they could to make our trip fun.

My sister Tracy and I went out fishing on the Sanctuary. The captain, Mark and his mate, Niles we spectacular. We had a fabulous day, caught yellowtail snapper, mackerel and mutton snapper, Niles and Mark were patient and kind, played great music and put us on the fish! We caught 12 in all, had to throw the groupers back (not in season). Then Niles cleaned the fish and we took 1/3 to a restaurant which cooked them for us, yummy. The rest were share with Captain Mark and Niles. I would highly recommend this team. Thank you guys.

Captain Brad had a beautiful well maintained boat. We had a very windy day so difficult to fish the fish were not very active related to the weather but he tried as best he could moved frequently and kept in touch with other captains but no one was having luck that day. His first mate Ryan was very good kept all the fishing poles maintained and gave us helpful instructions. He kept moving the whole 8 hr trip. Hopefully next time fishing conditions will be better.
