About Your Trip

Jump on the boat with Captain Richard for an afternoon of inshore fishing action. You'll target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, and more in the various bays and lagoons that the Alabama Coast has to offer.

Captain Richard specializes in both night and daytime fishing trips. Whether you are stepping on the boat as a first-time fisherman or you've been fishing for a lifetime, Captain Richard can cater your trip to fulfill your needs. You will be fishing a variety of locations around Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL. The amazing fishery that south Alabama has to offer allows you plenty of options for a day (or night) of fishing.

Captain Richards's sweet ride is a 22 ft Blazer Bay center console, an absolute fishing machine, that was designed with the fisherman in mind. This boat has up-to-date electronics, a trolling motor, a power pole anchor system, plenty of seating, a Bluetooth radio, and a shady t-top that provides a break from the sun.

Captain Richard will provide all rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and fishing know-how to ensure you have a successful day out on the water. All he recommends you bring are your sunglasses, sunscreen, and any snacks or drinks you might need. Captain Richard will do the rest!

Sunscreen (lotion type only, no spray) and any drinks or snacks you may want for your trip should be brought. Please DO NOT bring additional coolers on the boat, as they take up space and there will be a cooler with ice provided.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
