About Your Trip

On this trip, you'll head up to 20 miles offshore, where you'll be able to fish all kinds of bottom, from rocky areas to offshore reefs, natural ledges, and more! You'll be fishing in around 70 feet of water, which is perfect of catching up a wide variety of Snappers, Grouper, Porgies, Grunts, Jacks, and more!

The action can be fast and furious, with bites often coming within seconds of dropping down a bait. Captain Dan targets "keeper" sized fish on these trips, so that you can go home with a delicious dinner! However, these fish are generally not trophy size. For the chance at bigger and better quality, a longer trips are recommended as you have more time to get out further into deeper water.

Born and raised in South Florida, I have always had an affinity for water and drawn to it. My most fond memories growing up all revolve around playing sports and having a rod in my hand. Form an early age, my excitement for fishing trips would keep me awake in anticipation of the next days adventure.. As I've grown older and maybe a little wiser, my passions have only grown. While we had lots of success, the days of little to no success would drive me crazy and pushed me to practice my craft and try to learn more and more. Fishing to me is not just a passion, it is a way of life. Plus, the views out of my office are pretty sweet. I traded in a job wearing a suit and tie to spend my days on the water, teaching and educating anglers. I often get told this is the biggest grouper, snapper, amberjack, etc etc Ive ever caught. This puts a genuine smile and grin on my face. It is something I strive to do, and take pride in doing regularly.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
