About Your Trip

Head out to explore the Nearshore and Offshore waters in the Gulf of Mexico with Captain Alex. His boat is Federally Permitted which means you can venture out past State Waters and go as far out into the Gulf as you want.

In Destin however, the deep water is so close to shore that often you can still see the condos while sitting above 50 to 100 ft of water! For nearshore trips like these,
you can expect to do a good mix of trolling and bottom fishing.

Off Shore Gulf Fishing (Federal Waters), starting at 9 miles offshore, and reaching depths of 100 to 300 ft., you will be fishing for Amberjacks, Grouper, Snapper, Scamp, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, Bonito, Shark and possibly Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Marlin, and Tuna.

Captain Alex's boat the "Silver King" comes loaded with all the gear you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water including all the rods, reels, tackle, bait and fishing licenses. So all you have to do is bring your favorite snack and drinks, your sun protection, and your camera, and Captain Alex will take care of the rest!

Captain Alex was great. It's been a rainy week in FL, and he was able to squeeze us in. He knew all of the spots. Multiple people had mentioned not catching anything the day we went out, and our group caught our maximum limit. We've concluded in order to have ...Read More

We had a perfect day fishing with Captain Alex! The morning was beautiful, the fishing was excellent, and the fresh caught mingo for lunch was delicious! We are experienced offshore and inshore fishermen from the Texas Gulf Coast and the Laguna Madre, so we can state with authority that Captain ...Read More

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
