Gigging on your bucket list? Let Capt Chris take you on a trip of a lifetime! Gigging is a very unique and exceptionally fun way to harvest tasty inshore fish along the shallows of the Florida panhandle! Its also a great way to "beat the heat" during the hot summer months! These charters typically begin at dusk. Average water depths are 1 to 4 feet. We will provide you with all of the necessary gigging gear as well as teaching your crew the proper techniques.

If gigging is on your bucket list, there's no better trip than this one! Join Captain Chris for a fun an easy way to stack Flounder and beat the heat during the hot summer months. On this six-hour trip, you'll explore the shallow inshore waters of Apalachee Bay, FL at night, using underwater LEDs to spotlight the flatfish so that you can spear 'em! With room for up to four guests, you'll have a fantastic time targeting Flounder and other species that come out at night.

On board Captain Chris' 25' Pathfinder center console, you'll have an experienced guide to show you the best spots to find Flounder and provide all the necessary equipment, including gigging gear and a high-powered light. And once you catch your limit, Captain Chris can clean your fish for you.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Chris will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 23 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
