If you're looking to enjoy the best inshore fishing that Destin, FL has to offer, then this trip is your ticket! Get out there with Captain Joey and spend the day going after a wide range of popular species, including Black Drum, Jacks, Mackerel, Sheepshead, Flounder, Snappers, and more. These classic Florida gamefish offer a little bit of everything—hard fighting, delicious eating, and amazing pictures! Captain Joey has a ton of experience catching prizewinners, and he will do everything he can to put you on the fish and give you the best possible chance to catch a champion.

You'll be spending the day aboard his beautiful 24' Skeeter center console, powered by a 300-HP Yamaha outboard. This fast and versatile boat is perfect for fishing the different conditions you'll see in these waters, and can easily handle waters out to 10 miles. Captain Joey will provide everything you need for a perfect day on the water, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. His goal is for everyone to have a blast and to catch a bunch of fish! Remember to bring proper clothing, a hat, and sunscreen.

Joey developed a passion for fishing at a young age, learning the ropes from his dad and “Gramps.” At just 15, Joey was hired as an independent mate, one of the youngest ever on a well-known fishing charter boat in Destin Harbor. Then, Joey decided to obtain his 100 Ton Captain License at the age of 18.

In 2013, after being the captain of several other vessels, Joey decided to open his own charter fishing company. Captain Joey prides himself on safety, service and customer satisfaction. He looks forward to providing each customer with a memorable experience on the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
