About Your Trip

Looking to spend a day on inshore calm waters and reel in some big fish? Join Captain Jimmy on the inshore flats near Bradenton, FL! These waters are full of massive Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and Redfish just waiting to be caught. Captain Jimmy will lead you on the trip of a lifetime aboard his 26’ Donzi center console.

The vessel is powered by a 225HP Mercury engine, which will make for a fast and smooth ride through the glassy inshore waters. It comes equipped with a fighting chair to battle with the big ones and outriggers so you can troll with several lines. There is also a large icebox to store your catches, which Captain Jimmy will clean for you at the end of the voyage.

Besides Trolling, you will be Drift Fishing and Bottom Fishing on this trip. Captain Jimmy will guide you to the best holes and help hone your skills. He provides you with all the equipment you need including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. All you need to bring are drinks, snacks, and sun protection. This trip runs for either a half day or a full day but regardless, don’t let a nasty sunburn ruin your experience. With proper sunblock, polarized sunglasses, and a really cool hat, this trip will be a blast!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
