Get out there and get fishin' with Captain Scott, an expert fisherman and one of the top guides out of Holmes Beach, FL! On this trip, you can do it all, from trolling to bottomfishing, and go home with a full cooler and some amazing memories.

On this trip, you'll troll for fast fish like King and Spanish Mackerel, sight cast for cruising Cobia, or hit the reefs to bottom fish for Gag Grouper, Black Grouper, Mutton Snapper, and more! These fish are a blast to catch, and all make great table fare as well.

Captain Scott is great with kids and people who are new to fishing, so there's no experience required to have a great time on this trip. However, if you're a seasoned angler, Scott also have a bunch of tips and tricks to improve your fishing skills!

On the day of the trip, you'll head out aboard Captain Scott's 25' Chris-Craft center console, a fast and versatile boat perfect for a comfortable and productive trip. She's equipped with a 250-HP Yamaha engine, so you'll be on the hot fishing spots in no time! This boat also features standard electronics, so there's no need to worry about finding fish. Captain Scott will bring everything you need for a perfect day, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. To maximize your experience on the water, remember to bring a pair of polarized sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, and sunscreen.

Captain Scott is a true local expert when it comes to fishing the waters around Holmes Beach, FL. He comes from a family of fishermen and captains, and started working on a charter boat shortly after high school. Not long after, he got his captain's license and started chartering himself.
These days, Captain Scott specializes in inshore and nearshore fishing, and loves working with all types of people, including families, kids, bachelor parties, and more; one time, he even took out a group of bachelorettes!
He's taught many, many people how to catch fish and his clients come from all over the U.S. and Canada. There's no better way to experiences the great fishing that this area has to offer than a trip with Captain Scott!

Captain Scott was great. He was very patient and encouraging with our kids as they learned the details of near shore fishing. Very hard worker.
We ended up catching 50 fish!! Everyone had a great time.

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
