About Your Trip

Spiny Lobster or Florida Lobster are found in various water depths through the Florida Keys, they are fun to catch and are excellent table fare. Each year there is a two-day mini-season, pre-season opener, which occurs on the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July, Lobster hunting during the mini-season is 300$ more expensive per trip.

The regular eight-month Lobster season runs from August 6th-March 31st.

Florida Lobsters are found hiding under coral heads, rock ledges, holes, or really anything that they can back into and get some shelter. We catch them in depths from three feet to 150+ feet of water, making them a great hunt for any age or experience level.

We catch spiny lobster with a net and tickle stick, lobster snare, or by simply grabbing them. Keep in mind, these lobsters DO NOT have claws. Each guest is allowed to take six lobsters per day and your lobster license is included with your charter. We also include all of your equipment and one of our professional guides will be there to assist in the water.

We offer a wide range of charter services and specialize in spearfishing, for both freediving and scuba diving, and fishing. When you book, you are booking a fully private and all-inclusive adventure. Our staff takes care of every detail to ensure you have the most memorable on water experience. We have a wide range of charter options available and service the entire upper Florida Keys, from Key Largo to Marathon. Our vessels are well maintained and rigged specifically for your charter, all equipment is included and will be set up and ready for you. The staff is the best in the industry, we will assist you every step of the way to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. On board, there will be iced beer, water and light snacks. All licenses are included if you are spearfishing, fishing, or hunting lobster.

At our dock, there is shaded seating and the locally famous Square Grouper Restaurant. Relax and enjoy yourself, we will take care of your gear and clean any fish that you got during your charter. If your spending more than one day with us, we will store your equipment and have it ready for your next trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Tony will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Tony and Scotty were very courteous and did their best to get us into fish. Weather was not in our favor as it was cold and water temp was cold. Landed a 6 foot sail fish, some Atlantic spades and a rainbow racer! Great day on the water!!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
