If you're looking for a great half-day guided trip, Captain Chris offers premium inshore fishing charters aboard his 20' Champion Pro Guide Flats boat. Whether you're looking to leave at dawn, at dusk, or hit the midnight bite, Captain Chris is happy to put his extensive fishing knowledge to make sure you catch what your looking for. With 20+ years of fishing experience, you are sure to have an awesome fishing adventure with Captain Chris.

On this trip, you'll go out fishing for Reds, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and even tarpon, plus other inshore sportfish species. Captain Chris will be fishing right alongside you, and is full of good advice to improve your technique. He'll offer tips on where to cast, how to retrieve, and how to fight fish all the way to the boat, so you'll leave this trip a better angler than when you started.

Captain Chris will bring a fully loaded boat, so all you need to bring is a smile. He will have rods, reels, tackle, bait, and all the fishing licenses you will need for a successful and safe day out on the water.

He can also pick you up at any of the Jacksonville are boat ramps including St. Augustine and Amelia Island ramps as well. So let him know where your staying or whats most convenient for you, and he will meet you there!

Captain Chris is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and a graduate of the University of North Florida. He's been guiding in Jacksonville for the last twenty years. He grew up here fishing with his father and knows every nook and cranny of the many creeks and waterways of the United States largest city. He is an experienced boat operator and licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain.

Captain Chris is a regular inshore tournament competitor and he has been field testing for lure companies for over 20 years. He has far too many tournament wins to list, but he won the following major championships so far: 1999 Governors Cup Flats Fishing Championship, The 2003 Mitizi Skiff's Redfish Shootout Championship and the 2010 Xtreme Redfish Series Championship. Captain Chris is also an accomplished outdoor writer, his work has been published in Florida Sportsman Magazine, Coastal Angler Magazine, Onshore Offshore Magazine and more.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
