Hop on board with Captain Alejandro and prepare for an action-packed day of fishing the middle Keys! Long Key is great because you can stick around the flats and go after some of the prized inshore species that the Keys are known for without a long offshore excursion.

On this half, 3/4 or full-day trip, Captain Alejandro will take you to on the inshore flats and nearshore reefs and wrecks where you can go after Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout and even Tarpon depending on the season. You can target these fish using light tackle, artificial lures, and doing some drift fishing. Whatever you want to catch, Captain Alejandro will get your rod set up with what the fish are biting, put you in prime spots and give you some expert guidance!

Captain Alejandro fishes aboard a 25' Mako center console that has a capacity for 4 anglers. Powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine, this vessel will have no problem navigating the Key inshores! She comes complete with GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, a T-top for shade, and an Ice Box to store your catches. Captain Alejandro will even clean any keepers for you to take home!

Captain Alejandro will provide all rods, reels, tackle, bait and some bottled water. All you need to bring is sun protection and any food or drinks you might want. Book your trip today with this expert local captain!

Captain Alejandro grew up fishing in the middle Keys and runs his charter service in the exact same waters. With all his years of amateur and professional fishing out of Long Key, he's sure to know plenty of helpful tips to put you on some fish!

Captain Alejandro has a diverse range of skillsets, and on his 25' Mako center console he offers live bait, bottom, reef and wreck, and deep sea fishing. Whatever method you choose or fish you want to go after, Captain Alejandro will get you the best rod setup and provide some expert guidance!

His charter service offers half and full-day trip options, where you can target Grouper and Snapper on the nearshore reefs and wrecks or go for some Mahi Mahi, Tuna, King Mackerel and more in the offshore waters.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
