A spearfishing charter in Biscayne Bay is a thrilling and unique way to experience the underwater world! Biscayne Bay is a beautiful, clear-water bay located off the coast of Florida, known for its rich marine life and abundant fish species. Your guide, Damien, is a skilled and experienced spearfisherman who knows the waters of Biscayne Bay like the back of his hand and knows how to reliably put his clients on their preferred targets.

On a typical spearfishing charter with Damien, you'll start your day at the marina, where you'll board his spacious and well-equipped 28' Bertram sportfisher. As you head out onto the waters of Biscayne Bay, Damien will provide you with all the necessary spearfishing gear, including a spear gun, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit. He'll also give you a safety briefing and instructions on how to use the equipment properly.

On this trip, you'll head out over the reefs to hunt down Spiny Lobsters, which are easy to catch and delicious to eat!

As you dive, Damien will provide expert guidance and assistance, helping you best conserve your breath, "hide" from the fish underwater, and take accurate shots. He'll also be on the lookout for any potential hazards, such as underwater currents or sharks, and will provide instruction on how to safely navigate these obstacles.

After a few hours of spearfishing, you'll re-board the boat and head back to the marina with your catch! At the end of the day, Damien will help you clean and fillet your fish, so you can take them home to enjoy a fresh, delicious meal. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
