Take your young ones out on the water for a 2-hour fishing adventure with Captain Buddy. This trip is perfect for kids of all ages, and Captain Buddy is not only great with kids but also loves introducing youngsters to the sport!

On this trip, you will explore the inshore and backcountry waters around Destin. Captain Buddy has a bunch of honey holes around Choctawhatchee bay and backcountry bayous where the fish are always biting and he will try to maximize the most amount of action by taking you guys to them!

Captain Buddy will have all the rods, reels, tackle, bait, and licenses you could possibly need for an action-packed outing with your youngsters! All you need to bring is your sun protection and your kids to the dock and Captain Buddy will get to work making memories that will last a lifetime!

Captain Buddy was born and raised here on the Emerald Coast and has lived here his entire life, a local boy. His dad took him fishing for the first time before he was even old enough to remember, and one of his favorite things to do, to this day, is go fishing with his dad. Buddy got to know the local bays and bayous from countless hours spent on the water with family and friends and he knows the waters of Choctawhatchee bay like the back of his hand. He loves fishing and he loves taking people fishing. Even in his off time he can be found running his boat all around the area constantly keeping track of where the fish are and what they're eating. His charter operate year-round and is fully licensed with the U.S. Coast Guard and Florida Wildlife Commission.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
