About Your Trip

Hop on board with Captain Joe and experience an action-packed weekend of fishing in Panama City Beach, Florida! This trip is great for anglers of all skill levels - especially young kids!

On this 4-hour adventure, expect to target Bonito, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel Kingfish, False Albacore, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, and Wahoo. *Note-Species are seasonal throughout the year

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain Joe's 41' Infiniti sportfisher, which is a luxury vessel equipped with air conditioning, GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, refrigerator, multimedia system, and an ice box, among other amenities. The boat can accompany up to 6 anglers, so make sure you bring some good company!

Captain Joe will provide all rods, reels, tackle, lures, and a first mate. Remember to bring food and drinks for the day, a cooler with ice to take home your day’s catch, (fish processing at the dockside market is available for an added fee.)

Aftergrowing up right here in Panama City Beach, learning from a young age all about fishing on these beautiful Gulf of Mexico waters, Captain Alicia started the business back in 2011. She has enjoyed taking people out, introducing them to the local fisheries and what she has loved her entire life. Beginning with the 2022 season, Capt. Alicia transitioned to the new boat of the fleet, the Big Shot, and Capt. Joe took over the helm of the Long Shot. Capt. Joe has been Capt. Alicia's first mate since the beginning and knows both the boat and industry like the back of his hand. Capt. Joe was born in Panama City and moved away as a kid but the Gulf of Mexico and his passion for fishing drew him back in his teens. Once you go fishing with Capt. Alicia aboard the Big Shot or Capt. Joe aboard the Long Shot you’ll want to return to Panama City Beach for another excursion.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
