About Your Trip

Come join Capt. Brandon on a unforgettable fishing adventure aboard a 52ft sportfish that's spacious for your entire group with (AC, toilet, bunk beds, salon, and large back deck). She is a bottom fishing boat that specializes in taking guests to catch a variety of reef fish. Everyone of all ages can join along for the fun. Some common species of fish targeted are Snappers, Jacks, Groupers, and Sharks. With a huge variety of each species lurking the reefs, you never know what might bite the hook!

Trips offered are 6, 8, 10, and 12 hour trips. The longer the trip the further we go. The further offshore reefs are less pressured resulting in bigger fish, and more fish in the cooler. All trips are a blast and they all have the same goal in mind, to make sure everyone's having fun catching fish! Come fishing and let's make some great memories.

I am born and raised in Panama City FL. Fishing has been a passion of mine since I was a young man. I got involved in the charter industry at a young age, and fully pursued it when I was 17. I was a deckhand for 7 years, and moved up to Captains position when I turned 24. I am now the owner of the New Beginning, a boat I've operated for the last 5 years. I have been charter fishing for 13 years currently and look forward to many more.

Packing / Extras

What Included
• Your boat will have a knowledgeable, family-friendly Captain and Deckhand to take care of all of your fishing needs. The Deckhand will take care of all riggings and give lessons/refreshers to all passengers aboard.
• The boat has a max capacity of 16 passengers. Fishing license and tackle are covered for everyone aboard. We use well maintained Penn and Shimano rod/reels.
• The crew will cover all dead bait needed for your trip. We will have the best dead bait needed to ensure you have a great fishing trip.

What's Not Included
• We do not offer any food or drinks. Please bring a cooler for your favorite beverages and snacks. The boat is spacious inside for any bags and personal belongings. NO GLASS BOTTLES. Glass items are not allowed on the boat. Shattered/broken glass is a major hazard.
• We do not offer Live bait. Live bait can be purchased underway at the bait barge from our long time friends, Mr. Jackie and Mr. Joseph. Live bait is optional, but definitely helps bring more fish to the boat.
• Fish cleaning is not included with your trip. The fish market at Capt. Anderson's will clean your catch for a fee. They will cut and proportion your fish however you choose. You also have the option of taking your catch with you whole.
• The First Mate works primarily for gratuity. It is customary to tip 15-20% gratuity.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).
If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

First Time Booking with Us?

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
