About Your Trip

Hop on board with Captain Rick and prepare for an action-packed day of offshore fishing in the Atlantic! Riviera Beach provides easy access to the productive inshore and offshore waters that Florida is known for.

On this half, 3/4 or full-day trip, Captain Rick will take you a few miles off the West coast of Florida where you'll be going after some exciting Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, and Wahoo. You'll be targeting these fish using methods
such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling and jigging. Whether you want to fish with a rod in your hand, sit back and wait for a reel to start screaming, or do whatever your favorite species has been biting recently, Captain Rick will have you covered!

Captain Rick fishes aboard a 28' Contender center console with a guest capacity of five. The boat can make 50 knots, which means no time is wasted traveling from the dock to areas you want to fish! She comes with all the necessary safety features and up-to-date electronics, including navigational aids and fish finders. There’s a restroom on board, a well for live bait, and a cooler for drinks. There will be a first mate on board in addition to Captain Rick to help you fish and show you how to use equipment that may be new to you. At the end of the cruise, the mate will clean and filet your tasty catches for you to take home!

Captain Rick will provide all fishing rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and other necessities. He'll even get you the required fishing licenses. All you need to bring is any food or drinks you might want. Captain Rick encourages family charters and his trips are child friendly. These trips fit up to 5 guests, so bring along some good company and get ready to catch some fish! Livebait is not included in charter price and can be purchased for additional fee.

Captain Tommy was a great guide and great company, and knew all the best spots. We caught a mahi, which Tommy filleted for us, and a barracuda! We saw sea turtles and dolphins as well - a really incredible trip overall!

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
