trip description for Trophy Gator in Clermont

We hunt only private properties giving us access to vast wetlands, canals and marshes. This allows for incredible alligator habitat. The most exciting, adrenaline pumping, hunts are on the water at night, using a bow/cross bow and harpoon. Once you hit your target, hold on because the fight is just beginning……. If you prefer, you can hunt on land during the day (stalk & shoot). But no matter how we go about it, it will be awesome. Our alligator hunts take place March through December with the best time of year being late summer, early fall and the best time of month is the dark of the moon or (new moon). Read More

trip description for 7-9' Central Florida Gator Hunt in Orlando

Head out with Gator God Zac to hunt public waters around Central Florida. These gator hunts are super exciting and involved hunts targeting and stalking the right specimen, fighting him back to the boat with multiple rods, and taking home a trophy unlike any other! Captain Zac spends most of his time hunting the St. John's River estuary honing in on flow through laks like Lake Monroe, Lake Harney and others. In the state of Florida guns are not allowed to use a firearm at anypoint when killing a gator, and any bait used to attract a gator has to be attached to the boat in the state of Florida so there are no lines set over night. That's where having a profesional guide like Zac comes in handy: Knowledge of the water and the right equipment for the job are essential! He's been doing it for well over 10 years and is the best of the best. Depending on what you want to do Captain Zac either likes to sight cast on them with treble hooks or bait them from afar with beef lung or floating chickens at the end of a rod and reel. Baiting them on rod and reel is especially fun since you get to see the gator wallop your bait! This method is especially productive later in the season when the gators have grown wise to the boats in the area and all too often go under when you get within 300yds. After the gator has crushed and swallowed that beef lung or chicken, you and captain Zac will stalk up on him and throw an initial hook into him to act as an indicator. Applying to much pressure on that first hook will all too often break him off. Once the indicator is secured you and Captain Zac will throw a couple more treble hooks into him and fight him up to the boat. Once he is boat side Captain Zac will use his Bang Stick to dispatch the beast and haul him aboard to head back to the dock! Captain Zac has a handful of tags for these trips, but he highly reccomends his clients bring their own Alligator tag for these trips as well. **If you have you're own tag he will cut out the price you paid for your tag and give you a discounted rate!** Everything else is provided on board like rods, reels, baits, Bang Sticks, ropes, and a cooler for your beverages and snacks. trip description for Okeechobee Alligator: 8’-8’11" in Okeechobee

*This trip includes one 8'-8'11" Gator!* Alligator hunting in Florida is not for the timid or faint of heart! Here we provide you with a safe, fun, and exciting alligator hunt year-round. We offer both private and public land alligator hunts. On our private land hunts, we either hunt nuisance gators that are a threat to people or animals on close or surrounding ranches or in our private hunting preserve - which guarantees a harvest. Our private land hunts are “spot and stalk” on a pond or canal. If we find a gator laying on a bank, we will try to sneak up as closely as possible to get a brain kill shot. The size of a gator’s brain is about the size of a golf ball. If we do not see one on a bank but in one of the ponds or canals, then it becomes alligator fishing. At that time the hunter will try to snag the gator and fight it on rod and reel until it tires out and surfaces. At that time, the hunter will take the shot at the gator on the surface. You can use rifle, handgun, bang stick or bow to harvest your alligator. With our public land hunts, the hunter is required to either apply and draw a tag via a state lottery system or purchase a state public land tag from one of our guides when available and in season. These hunts take place on either an air boat or a flats boat with a seasoned gator hunting guide. If you are successful and harvest your gator then we will be able to arrange for the processing of your meat and taxidermy service by a local licensed processor/taxidermist if desired. Read More

Great time with Brooke. Showed us a lot of the area while we fished. Had to change days because of weather. That was no factor. Glad all fit in. He is very interested in teaching the youth to fish. He got stuck with 2 old farts that still had a good time m

We were able to schedule a bow fishing trip with captain Bobby. We had an absolutely amazing experience with him. Ended up shooting a ton of fish and saw them constantly. Bobby was knowledgeable and very personable. I would recommend booking with Bobby, we will next time we’re in the area.

I could not have asked for a better outfit to take our family fishing. Captain Keith took us to the best spots and we caught something each time. Pat and Captain Keith were amazing with our diversity of age and skill level. Thank you again.
