One day of fishing just isn’t enough? Make it a double! Captain Gavin and his experienced crew are stoked to take you out for a 48-hour fishing extravaganza! Up to 10 guests can comfortably fit aboard the 32’ Aluma Marine which you will use to extensively search the Louisiana marshland for Redfish and Speckled Trout. The network of canals stretches for miles, and over 2 days you will have plenty of time to explore it. Y'all will be staying in the newly renovated cabins, bunkhouses, or houseboats that sit on the bayou for a beautiful view of the bayou. Besides Redfish and Speckled Trout, the flats are home to Black Drum, Flounder, and Redfish, all of which are delicious. Each person on the trip should bring a large cooler to keep their catch fresh for dinner. Not to worry, lodging overnight is included. There, Captain Gavin will clean your catch for you and you can try your hand at the grill. He will also provide you with all the rods, reels, bait, and tackle necessary for a successful trip, as well as sodas during the hot days. You should also bring extra drinks and snacks for each day, because the weather down there can get pretty hot. Always feel free to take a break in the air-conditioned cabin aboard the vessel. You have 2 whole days to fish––no need to spend every second with a rod in hand. The twin 600hp Yamaha engines will guide you smoothly through the flats as Captain Gavin takes you to the best fishing holes in the area. Read More

trip description for Sportsman’s Paradise Trip in Saint Bernard

If you're planning on fishing in Southeast Louisiana and are looking for a top-notch fishing charter, come fish with the best! Whether you're just visiting the New Orleans area and looking for an enjoyable family outing, or a dedicated angler hoping to bag a trophy, Captain Mike has got you covered. On the day of your trip, you will be fishing out of Captain Mike's fish out of a 26' Caymas hybrid bay boat powered by a 300 Mercury. This shallow-draft fishing vessel is ideal for inshore angling, and you'll be able to maneuver around the marshes, channels, and flats with ease. Throughout spring, summer, and fall Captain Mike likes to target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Tripletail, Sheepshead, and Flounder. During certain seasonal months, he also goes after Snapper and Cobia! Starting in early spring he switches his focus to the southern edge of Delacroix, north hitting deeper marshes and channels and targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. As the waters warm up, he will move further out, chasing the bait from Delacroix to Hopedale to Shell Beach. This allows him and his clients to get on some great Speckled Trout and Redfish bites! As water temperatures rise in the springtime, the action takes him to cleaner waters in search of large schools of Speckled Trout, plus tons of Flounder. Once water temperatures reach a certain level, he likes to go further out to the outer marshes and surrounding areas. This is where he goes to target Bull Reds, Speckled Trout and Tripletail! When you book a trip, you can be confident that Captain Mike will do the utmost to put you on some of the best fishing of your life! Southeast Louisiana isn't called the "Sportman's Paradise" for nothing, and the fishing here is truly legendary. Get out there and have the time of your life with Captain Mike! Read More

trip description for Lake Ponchartrain Lunkers in Slidell

Just 20min from the French Quarter, you can be boarding the boat, heading out with Captain James to fish Lake Pontchartrain and the surrounding backwater marshes for Redfish, Trout, and Drum with Captain James. These full day trips leave from "The Dock" in Slidell around 6-6:30am and run until around 1pm sometime alittle longer. Captain James is not one to watch his watch, he likes to watch the fish drop into the boat! The Dock in Slidell puts you a very short boat ride from premier fishing spots that Captain James knows like the back of his hand. On your trip you will do a lot of sight casting with artificials, live bait, and popping corks. Out on lake Pontchartrain, you can drift the bay and hit Captain James' honeyholes as well. Don't forget your Louisiana fishing license, but Captain James will provide all the fishing equipment (Rods, Reels, Bait, etc), water, sports drinks, and light snacks. He will even clean your fish for you at the end of the day! All he recommends you bring is you sun protection (Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Hats), Bug spray, and your rain gear just in case. Read More
