Want to catch a big fish on Lake Bridgeport, but you don't have a boat? Captain Keith is the man for the job! With over 25 years of experience and the current lake record Hybrid Bass under his belt, he is ready to help you catch that next trophy fish. On Lake Bridgeport with Captain Keith, you will be fishing for White (Sand) Bass and Hybrid Striped Bass. He fishes year-round and likes to use both lures and live bait depending on the time of year. In the winter months specifically, he likes to fish lures, using "slabs" and "Deadstick" jigs. It's a fun, hands-on way to catch them up! And as the water warms up in the spring and summer months, he will mix in more live bait action but is always willing to throw a lure! You will be fishing out of a 22 ft Key West Center Console (with T-Top!) equipped with everything needed to put fish in the boat, including a state-of-the-art bait tank. His service is complete, all you will need is a freshwater license and what you want to eat or drink. Wade into the water with Greg for an exciting fly-fishing adventure on some beautiful Texas rivers! On this 4 to 8-hour fly-fishing trip, Greg will take you on a Walk & Wade trip out on the Brazos River or a smaller tributary such as the Paluxy River. Here, he'll give you some of his expert fly fishing tips as you target several fish species including Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, White Bass, and a variety of the Sunfish species. There is even Carp, Smallmouth Buffalo, Freshwater Drum and Gar. No matter your experience level, from beginners to experienced, Greg is passionate about making your day on the water one to remember. Whether it’s wading the scenic Brazos River or wading the “hill country like” Paluxy River, Greg will guide you to a Texas sized, fun filled, fly fishing trip of a lifetime! Greg will provide flies, leaders & tippet, fly rods & reels (available by request, please make arrangements prior to your trip), drinks, snacks and will even do some expert photography to leave you with some pictures! Lunches will be provided on the full day trips as well. All you need to bring is a valid Texas freshwater fishing license, breathable waders, and we recommend polarized sun glasses, a hat, rain gear & clothing for the season and sunscreen. You are welcome to bring our own fly rod and reel. He recommends a 4-6 weight Fly Rod for wade trips on smaller waters such as the Paluxy River. However, on the Brazos River he prefers a 6-8 weight Fly Rod. Big flies allow opportunities to catch some bigger fish but require a heavier fly line. Big fish are also easier to control and land on a 6-8 weight fly rod. In terms of lines, he recommends floating, weight forward and shorter taper fly lines. On the Brazos River, there are times when an intermediate sink, or sink tip and full sinking lines are best. Enjoy your day on the water and catch some fish with Greg! Read More

We went out with one of Milton's guides, Captain Manny. We chatted over texts before the trip and I'm glad we did. He asked about what we were expecting; trophies or quantity. This led him to suggest a different lake, which was the same distance from us. And it was perfect! He educated us on catfishing around the area and we picked his brain about fishing in general. That alone is worth the price of a guide. On top of that, he put us on a 20 lb blue in the first 15 minutes. The boat was very roomy for the 3 of us plus the Captain and just about anything else you would want to bring. I would consider this a very family and beginner friendly trip. They provided all gear and tackle. It whole process was so convenient I'm already thinking about the next dates I can get out there again.

We went with Cody and had a great time. I bass fish a lot but never thought about Alligator Gar fishing. But some friends from Czech Republic came to see me and that was on there bucket list. So we booked with Captain Experiences. The whole experience from start to finish was great. Shawna was great and keep us updated on everything. and was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Cody sure knows what he is doing. our largest was 160.25 lbs. and I do think I will be going back. I do recommend you give it a try. Terry Varden
