Book a trip for a night fun of action packed bowfishing. My name is Dustin, and I am owner and operator. I live on Stillhouse Lake and have been bowfishing for several years, so I know the lake very well. I also fish several other lakes around the area including Lake Belton, Lake Austin, Lake Whitney and others. If you're a first time, no worries, I have you covered. I supply all the state-of-the-art equipment to have an action-packed night out on the water. Having a range of bows everyone including women and children that can accommodate different individuals. We will start the trip off meeting at the boat ramp and loading up at your preferred time. Then making our way out to the lake, where I will go over a safety briefing with you and get you set up with your bow you will be shooting throughout the trip. You will then take some practice shots to get comfortable with your bow, then off we go to chase some fish. If you have larger groups (bachelor parties, corporate events, friends, family or just a date night), we can accommodate those bigger groups as well within a 2 weeks' notice. You will be fishing off of a 20ft 72inch wide custom center console specifically outfitted for bowfishing. The boat is equipped with twelve 100 watt led lights that is best for all clarity of waters we fish in. During this fishing trip we will be targeting bass exclusively out of the thick matted grass. lures used will be top water early in the mornings and the rest of the day we will have a big rod, big line, and big weight. If you're looking to land the biggest, baddest freshwater fish south of the Mason-Dixon, this trip with your pro guide, Milton, is what you want. Milton is well known in Texas for his ability to find, hook, and land some absolutely massive Alligator Gar, which can get up to 200 pounds and over six feet long! These fish are top predators in their environments, and hunt everything from fish to frogs to ducks and small mammals. The Trinity River outside of Dallas is home to some of the biggest Gar in the country, so get out there and get some! On this trip, Milton will motor you out to the deep holes in the river, where you'll be using heavy tackle with steel leaders to hook these prehistoric monsters. Gar are ferocious fighters, and going toe-to-toe with one of these fish is an experience like no other. Plus, their alligator-like teeth can do some real damage, so watch out. Milton has a whole cache of secret spots up and down the Trinity, so if it's not happening in your current spot, he'll move you to the next one until the fish start biting! You'll be out there on Milton's 20' G3 skiff. She has a shallow draft to let you in to every part of the river, and has a 150HP Yamaha to get you wherever you want to go. Milton will provide all the rods, reels, leaders, bait, snacks and drinks for your trip. All you're required to bring is your Texas All Water License. This is a fly fishing trip for the annual white bass run above Lake Whitney. Guests will meet the guide at Hamm Creek Park near Rio Vista and travel up the Brazos River in a 18 foot center console boat. Fishing will be a combo of boat and wade fishing for white bass, stripers, and large mouth bass. All tackle can be provided along with ice and water on the boat. Full day trips will include lunch.
