Josh and his outfit are a Louisiana-based fishing charter company that offers a wide range of fishing trips and experiences for anglers of all skill levels. Founded by Captain Joshua and his partner Jock the company strives to build a reputation for providing top-notch fishing trips on the beautiful waters of Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico.

Josh and his marina represent multiple offshore fishing captains. Their fleet is exclusive to catamarans by the one and only, Freeman Boat Works. We offer multiple sized vessels, ranging from 33 to 42 feet in length. Freeman boats offer some of the best riding experiences on the water. They are fast, efficient, and most importantly, comfortable.

Josh's Captain have years of experience fishing in the Louisiana area. They are highly knowledgeable about the local fishing spots and have a keen eye for spotting the best areas to catch a variety of different fish species. They are also experts in using different types of fishing techniques, such as casting, trolling, and jigging, to ensure that their clients have the best chance of catching a trophy fish.

On their trips they offers a wide range of fishing trips for both individuals and groups. Whether you are an experienced angler or a beginner, our captains can tailor a trip to suit your needs and skill level. The company offers inshore fishing trips, which target red fish, speckled trout, and flounder in the bays and bayous of Louisiana. They also offer offshore fishing trips, which target tuna, snapper, grouper, amberjack, wahoo, marlin, shark, etc., in the Gulf of Mexico.

Cocodrie is located just west of Grand Isle, Venice, and Fourchon and south of Houma, LA. The company uses top-of-the-line fishing equipment and boats, ensuring that clients have the best possible fishing experience. The company also provides all necessary fishing gear, including rods, reels, and bait.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Josh will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 30 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
