Head out with Captain Jay for an incredible inshore experience in Venice Louisiana!

On a typical day, you will leave the dock at “safe light” and will find yourself running through a maze of bayous, bays, and marshes on your way to one of the many Louisiana fishing locations in the area.

Once arriving at the first “honey hole”, you will troll or drift along while casting to grass-covered areas or over one of the many oyster reefs in the marshes. These waters are so bountiful with rod bending redfish and tail walking speckled trout that it is not uncommon to catch 50+ fish each day. The Louisiana fishing trip action is unbelievable. Venice, Louisiana is the undisputed “Redfish Capital of the World”. You will never go redfish fishing anywhere else and be able to catch more 20-30+ pound redfish, and that is a fact.

Captain Jay will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water! So all you need to bring is your Louisiana fishing license, your favorite snacks and drinks, and let Captain Jay get you hooked into the fish!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
