To hit your limit, you'll be trolling and casting for "wallhanger" Walleye. Walleye go after a variety of lures, and Alan will make sure you're set up with the best tackle for
the time of year and the conditions. There are a several different options to choose from, including diving crankbaits, spoons, and more.

Walleye aren't known for being huge fighters, but they're some of the best-eating freshwater fish out there, and they're super fun for anglers of all levels. There's truly no better way to hit your limit than this trip with Captain Alan! You'll also have good chances of catching Perch, which are also great eating and fun for kids to reel in.

You'll get out there aboard his 28' Cherokee sportfisher, a beautiful boat that's ideal for trolling. She runs twin Crusader engines so you'll be out there in no time, and has plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable. You'll be provided with everything you need for a blue-ribbon fishing trip; all you need to bring is proper clothing for the weather, your Ohio fishing licenses, and a good attitude!

About Your Guide

Captain Alan

Outfitter
Like most fisherman, Captain Alan grew up in small town, fishing many of the great streams for small mouth bass, catfish and pretty much anything that would bite. One day, he was invited to go on a Lake Erie walleye Trip, which would change his life forever. Since those early days of fishing the big lake, Alan has been driven to own and operate his very own charter service on Lake Erie.

He hung out with some of the best
captains in the business, learning all the tricks, tactics and anything they were willing to talk about. When they spoke, he listened. From there, he started competing in tournaments on the lake, learning more and more. In 2016, he decided it was time to go after my license and pursue his next challenge.

Since then, Alan has worked extremely hard to get his business off the ground! The last few seasons, he's seen consistent business and 2023 is looking to be his best year yet!
