Get out there with Captain Lloyd and spend the day chasing Walleye year-round and Perch in the early fall months, on Lake Erie! Walleye are a consistent target on lake Erie, and can be targeted anytime the weather is warm enough to get out on the water (April 30 - Oct 31), Perch become a viable target to mix in come September when the water starts cool down a little bit. Lloyd has been fishing here for decades, and over the course of this full-day trip, he'll take you to all of the best spots to hook 'em up. Both Perch and Walleye are excellent eating and are fun for anglers of all levels. You'll be fishing with classic light tackle cast-and-retrieve techniques, using a variety of lures.

Captain Lloyd's 30’ Baha can comfortably fit up to 6 guests, plus the captain himself. She runs a 400HP Volvo Penta engine, and features a toilet, ice boxes, and fishfinder to enhance your fishing.

Everything you need for an amazing trip will be provided by Captain Lloyd. He’ll bring all the equipment including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. All you need is sun protection, appropriate clothing, and your fishing licenses! Check the weather reports a couple days before your trip so you can come prepared.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
