About Your Trip

Although Lake Erie isn't the biggest or the deepest of the Great Lakes, it certainly has some of the best fishing, with strong native stocks of Smallmouth Bass and yellow Perch.

On this trip with Captain Ken, you'll target either Smallmouth or Perch
Perch average just a couple of pounds, but they're surprisingly agile and will put up a good fight on light tackle. In addition, they often hang out in groups, so getting multiple
fish on at one time isnt uncommon.
Smallmouth Bass, or "Smallies" often get to lunker size in the rich waters of Lake Erie. These badass fish fight hard, and a big one is a prize for any freshwater pursuit fisherman
You'll be chasing your target species with classic light tackle fishing techniques. Walleye, and Bass will hit both live and artificial bait and lures, so you can switch things up depending on the conditions. Captain Ken will make sure you're set up with the best tackle for the job!

Captain Ken's 37' Tiara sportfisher is a beauty. She has comfortable seating for up to six, a full cabin to keep you out of the sun, and sports twin Caterpillar diesels with a combined 840 horsepower! This boat also has all the equipment you need to come home with a full cooler and great memories.

Captain Ken will provide all the rods, reels, and tackle, so all you need to bring is your Ohio fishing license, proper clothing for the weather, and sun protection! What are you waiting for?!

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
