About Your Trip

If the fish are biting, Captain Wade will be fightin' 'em on this full-day fishing adventure! And if the fish aren't biting, Captain Wade will change locations, baits, and tactics until they do. He's a real professional and always does everything he can to put his clients on massive King and Coho Salmon! You'll be fishing at the mouth of the great Columbia River, where hundreds of thousands of these famous sea-run fish come to breed every year.

You'll hunt these fish using a variety of baits and lures on trolling gear. All of the Salmonids—the family that includes Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead—love to hit fast-moving targets, and when one of these fish takes the hook, you'll feel it! Both species have fast runs and big jumps, so these fights are nothing short of spectacular! After you pull in a monster, you can store it in the icebox so it stays fresh during the remainder of your voyage.

You'll be fishing aboard Captain Wade's 23' Willie, a no-nonsense boat that's built for river fishing, with a maneuverable hull design and a 250-HP Yamaha engine to keep you moving all day. She's kitted out with gear to enhance your fishing and help you fill your cooler, including GPS, fishfinder, and more!

My Dad and Grandpa got me hooked on this life when I was about 6 years old. I've been fishing the Northwest rivers and ocean ever since! I love sharing my experience, stories, and excitement with all of my clients. My favorite thing is probably seeing the smile on a client's face when they hook into their first big fish... and there is nothing better than hearing a kid say... "got one!"
