About Your Trip

Join Captain David for 2-full days of fishing in Galveston Bay’s productive waters!

You’ll start your trip at Thompson’s Bait Camp. From there, Captain David will take you out on the water for 5-6 hours. The Galveston Bay system is home to the “Texas Big Three” (Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout), plus Amberjack, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Shark, and many more species. Captain David will help you reel ‘em all in!

You’ll return to Thompson’s Bait
Camp where Captain David and his crew will clean and fillet your fish. Captain David will then cook you a “captain’s lunch” from your day’s catch. Captain David will then take you back out on the water for 4-5 hours where you will test your casting accuracy once again.

You will return to Thompson’s Bait Camp just in time for dinner. Captain David will cook you your day’s catch as you watch the sunset from the camp’s dock.

You’ll stay at a hotel provided by Captain David (included in the cost of the trip) and return the following morning bright and early for another productive day of fishing!

**Day 2**

Captain David will have breakfast ready for you on the dock upon your arrival. You may also bring your own food if you like, although Captain David is an amazing cook. You’ll then hit the water for 6-8 hours where the Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout will be awaiting your arrival.

Learn to fish new techniques and create lasting memories on the water while reeling in your personal best with Captain David!

Captain David was great. The weather and the tide was working hard against us and he worked harder to put us on fish. Great trip with a quality guide, I will be back.
