Prepare yourself for a relaxing, yet action-packed day on Sabine Lake with Captain Mike!

Sabine Lake is renowned for its abundance of big Redfish and Speckled trout, which Captain Mike will help you catch throughout your 6-hour adventure. There is a vast area of marsh surrounding this lake which adds a layer of fortification in the event of strong winds and high tide.

You’ll be fishing on Captain Mike’s 24’ Kenner Center console. It is equipped with a GPS and a fishfinder. You may purchase a live bait well for an additional fee. Not to mention that the boat can cruise at a maximum speed of 40 knots. It can accommodate 3 anglers.
Make sure you bring a valid Texas fishing license, food and drinks of your choice (no glass), a hat, sunscreen, and some good company! Captain Mike will provide the rest.

Captain Mike is fully licensed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the United States Coast Guard. Captain Mike fishes the entire Galveston Bay system, the Galveston Ship Channel, and the North and South Jetties year-round. He will primarily target the limits of Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Redfish.

With over 30 years of experience, Captain Mike knows exactly how to target the various species that inhabit the Galveston Bay system. Captain Mike’s 24 foot Kenner center console boat powered by a Yamaha 225 four stroke motor is a fisherman friendly boat that can accommodate 3 anglers.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Mike will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Mike was wonderful. Put me on the fish early and had a great time doing it! Also had an encounter with the TPWD, gave us a report and we did better than the majority of the boats on the water! I’ll be coming back without a doubt.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
