About Your Trip

Captain Marc's Bass Fishing Trip in Lake Fork, Texas is the place to be for trophy bass. The big bass will be lurking and ready to make dreams come true. Bass fishing at its finest! Lake Fork is known as one of the best lakes in the country for trophy bass fishing, and Captain Marc knows how to fish it.

On Captain Marc's 4 or 8 hour Bass Fishing Trip, you can expect to catch
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and spotted bass. The techniques you'll use depend on the time of year and the water conditions, but they may include fishing with artificial lures, live bait, or fly fishing.

Captain Marc's Boat is a top-of-the-line bass boat that is perfect for a day out on the lake. It is 22 feet long and has a 250-horsepower engine. The boat also features two power poles, bow-mounted GPS and fishfinder electronics, and a wireless trolling motor. The boat is perfect for a day of fishing or just cruising around the lake.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included on the Bass Fishing Trip. You will need to bring a valid Texas fishing license, and Captain Marc recommends that you bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and lunch if you are planning on being out on the lake all day. Fishing licenses can be purchased online or at most tackle shops.

Captain Marc also recommends that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Bass fishing can be a lot of fun, but it can also be challenging at times. Be prepared to get hooked and have a great time!

Captain Marc is the most experienced Lake Fork fishing guide you'll fish with. He began guiding Lake Fork fishing trips in 1982 and jumped into chasing giant largemouth bass with clients full time in 1986. Captain Marc knows the entire lake inside and out from his time in the area that predates the lake itself- this gives him unique topographical knowledge of the lake's bottom structure.

To our knowledge, Captain Marc is the most continuously active guide on Lake Fork.
He himself has taken 58 largemouth bass over 10 pounds, and says he feels incredibly proud when anglers catch their personal best on his trips.

In all his years as a Lake Fork fishing guide, Captain Marc's target has been the Trophy Bass that Lake Fork is famous for. If a Trophy Bass is what you are looking for, book a trip with Captain Marc today!

First Time Booking with Us?

Captain Experiences is the home of over 1500 Damn Good fishing and hunting guides. Our mission is to unlock the outdoors for everyone, and we want to help you get out there through our no-hassle online booking experience and our team of outdoors experts.
We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
