About Your Trip

South Texas is perfectly situated for epic waterfowl hunting. Located smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, the area is an annual stopover for millions of ducks, who come to rest in the protected bays and inshore waters while they migrate.

Species here include Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Cinnamon Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks—all of which are a blast to shoot and good eating as well.

On this trip, your outfitter,
Terry, will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the blinds and decoys, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells. You'll get out there before dawn, and hunt until 11 o'clock, so you can even be home for lunch!

If you have wingshooting experience, this is a perfect chance to hit your limit! If you're still new to the sport, this is a great way to improve your skills alongside a top-notch guide. Get out there and see what the Texas coast has to offer!

Captain Terry has been involved in/with the great outdoors since the moment he was introduced into this world. At an extremely young age, his father placed a fishing rod into his hands and began passing on the critical skills that would later create a patient, persistent, successful young man. By the age of sixteen, Terry’s waterfowl hunting obsession took hold and drove him to make his first boat faster! As this love for the water grew so did his experience which eventually led to mastering the art of the hunt.
That accomplishment brought forward a desire to share his outdoor adventures with the world and in 2015 he started the brand and his charter business with a primary goal of having fun in the outdoors. Today he happily calls Matagorda Bay home and is blessed to be surrounded by a phenomenal network of men & women that are some Texas’s BEST!

Terry was by far the best guide we’ve had in Matagorda! It’s obvious he knows the bay & where the fish are, in addition to being very personable and attentive to our team. A++++

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
