Captain Carlos' freshwater charters allow you to catch a variety of species, you don't just target one. Some common catches include peacock bass, largemouth bass and clown knife fish. These trips are extremely consistent and can produce all day action. All too often, he puts his client on so many fish that trips are called early by his clients because their arms are too tired to continue! Check out the carousel above to see some of the species you can expect to catch.

Every private charter you book is run solely by Captain Carlos.

Charters take place aboard a 19' polar bay boat. This boat is powered by a 2021 Suzuki 150hp engine. The boat is equipped with Garmin Electronics and a Minn Kota trolling motor. This fishing charter service is very family-oriented and welcomes all ages and groups.

Meet up location can occasionally change depending on the day and where the best fishing is in the area, but Carlos will commonly pick up his guests from The Hive Waterfront Restaurant & Tiki in Lantana, FL. The hive is located at 2412 Floral Rd, Lantana, FL 33462. It is a great place to grab some delicious food and drinks after your charter!

You will need to buy your fresh water fishing license before the trip, but otherwise, Captain Carlos will have everything else you need for a succesful day out on the water.

I’m a Florida native here in Palm Beach who grew up on the water. Fishing, hunting, diving, surfing, and enjoying wildlife and nature here in our area has always been a passion of mine. I’ve worked on many boats from saltwater to freshwater. In February 2015, I received my 100-ton Captain License. I’m a certified Firefighter- paramedic and really enjoy helping people. I love being able to put a smile on a customer's face when they catch a fish and seeing their excitement when they reel in something they have never caught before. I like to give a lot of information about wildlife and history here in south Florida. This fishing charter service is very family oriented and welcomes all ages and groups. It will provide an experience that you will never forget!

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
