trip description for Full Day Trip - 37’ SeaVee in Fort Lauderdale

These trips provide enough time to try numerous styles of fishing, allowing you to catch a multitude of different species. Captain Preston will change your methods up seasonally depending on what's biting. He will often start by running offshore targeting species such as Mahi Mahi, Golden Tile, Snowy Grouper, Black Belly Rose Fish, and Yellow Eye Snapper. After fishing offshore has run its course Captain Preston can point his boat back to shore and motor in a little closer to hit the reefs. Usually he'll anchor up the boat and chum up the water, and get the fish into a feeding frenzy! Some targets here include snapper, grouper, amberjack, and a wide range of other reef-dwelling fish. So if you're looking for an all-in-one trip where you can catch a variety of hard fighting and delicious fish, look no further, and join Captain Preston (a Fort Lauderdale native) aboard the Second Wynnd. She's a custom-built 2020, 37’ SeaVee and is one of the newest and nicest boats in the Lauderdale charter fleet. Triple outboard engines power the Second Wynnd, so you won’t experience the strong-smelly diesel fumes that many other boats can produce, significantly reducing the chance of seasickness. This trip includes a variety of all the best light and heavy tackle rods, reels, tackle, and bait to land an assortment of fish! Captain Preston will clean your catch at the end of the day as well so you can take home some tasty table fare for the freezer. Read More

Captain Justin was awesome. Caught 9 different fish species with him during our fishing part of the trip. He knew exactly where to cast, what to cast, and how to work the fishing pole. The hunt part was amazing as well. Got 12 Iguanas, one being around 41 inches. Justin has the best eyes when it comes to spotting them. He’d point one out while going full speed in the boat. it would take us 10-15 second to spot it. If you want to do an iguana hunt in the Fort Lauderdale area, book Justin.
