If you've ever wanted to enjoy amazing fish-fighting action while catching some delicious table fish off of one of America's premier waterfronts, this might be the trip for you. Captain Leon is a pro and loves to show clients all that the Crystal River area has to offer, especially it's tastiest eating fish: Groupers. You'll hook these fish using bottom fishing techniques, primarily using heavier tackle. Capt. Leon will get you to where the fish are, then help you place the perfect bait or lure to attract a big bite. Even though you're in shallower water, there are heavyweights down below! These fish are not happy to be caught, and you'll have to bring your skill, strength, and stamina once they're hooked. You'll chase the fish from the deck of Captain Leon's 21' Carolina Skiff bay boat—the perfect vessel for fishing the inshore waters here in Crystal beach. She's powered by an ultra-reliable 115 HP Yamaha, so you'll be on the fish in no time, and she has all the additional electronics you could ask for, including GPS, FishFinder, Live Well, and Power Poles for superior boat handling. Great 3 hour charter with Captain Jeremy & Hunter! Took my son and two grandsons (8 & almost 6) out. The guys were great and removed the fish from our lines and baited our hooks. We caught about 60 Grey Snappers, a few Puffer Fish and a few Sea Bass! Overall a great day! Going again at the end of the month with my daughter & son-in-law! Highly recommend these guys. We really enjoyed our trip with Capt. Robert. The boat was well maintained and the rods were smooth. He was a pleasure to spend the day with and I would have no hesitation to recommend him to anyone looking for a guide. He was friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable about the local area and the how's and where's to put fish in the boat. My wife caught her pb trout on this trip and I almost broke mine. He started as our Captain and finished as our friend. When we come back down, there is no need to look for another Capt., we already found the best.

Bill M. with Robert D. of Tarpon Springs, Florida

Nick was a great captain for us. He's very easy to talk to, knows his way around the coast and knows fish. We scalloped but I imagine he also leads amazing fishing trips. This was my girlfriend's first day snorkelling too, and Nick made sure she was comfortable all throughout. Although we came during the less fruitful part of the scalloping season, Nick still made sure it was a memorable adventure.

Adam R. with Justin R. of Crystal River, Florida

We had a great time, but didn't find many scallops, which could be because it was close to the end of the season?
