This involves mainly fishing for Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, and Speckled Seatrout; depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning to effectively catch the fish of your dreams. Your fishing adventure starts on a 20 foot Yamaha FSH 190 center console jet boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers on inshore trips. This boat offers sufficient storage for all your needs, ice boxes, a 30GL livewell, LED 360 lighting for comfortable night fishing trips, a music stereo and over 10 rod holders. Capt. Miguel provides you with all the premium rods, reels, terminal tackle, and bait. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. This charter should be on every serious angler’s bucket list These tarpon do amazing, acrobatic flips and jumps and show off their beautiful silver scales as they relentlessly try to shake your hooks throughout the fight – which makes catching a tarpon a very difficult and rewarding task. Tarpon near Fort Myers can be over 200 pounds and we’re commonly hooking up with 5+ fish per trip. Tarpon fishing at night in Southwest Florida is best during tarpon season from March – August, but it’s also a great year-round bite where you can hook tarpon almost any day of the year!
