I’m experienced in everything from the rivers to 100 miles offshore and everything in between . I offer Custom Charters , meaning ,, if you can imagine the trip, I’ve already done it many times and can guarantee a uniquely gratifying experience . Unless the weather is surprisingly challenging, I can always adjust to the conditions to salvage a trip. Let your imagination lead you. I’ve raised 5 daughters and numerous sons to the blessings of the salt water . I love youngins and their parents and catering to the next generations of anglers and Captains . Teaching everything I know and have experienced is an opportunity to leave a Legacy . I’m a very young 60ish Captain and fell like I’ve got 30 more years to impart experiences and knowledge . Let’s make Memories ! On this vessel particularly. .. fishing … Trout, Drum, Tarpon , Spanish, Bonito, Kings, Cobia , bottom species . Mahi as they move within 30 miles . Tuna in season. Commercial and For Hire is a unique opportunity to land a few coolers full of meat . Fly Rod, Casting, and Trolling are specialties available , and depending upon the experience of my clients , customizable to the day. ECO TOUR … limitless opportunities, I have a Permit to land on our National Seashores , ie, Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks . I have the unique guarantee to be able to guide clients to the most amazing experiences to truly find all sorts of critters, shellfish, starfish , sanddollars, and virgin beaches in our area . Of course I’ll have to confiscate your cell phones and gps devices plus utilize blindfolds to and from the areas of paradise. Of course so that said areas remain anonymous. I specialize in personal private experiences , but I can also put the serious social beach goers in the middle of the “Fun” crowd . These ECO Tours can be customized to include some fishing as well for a combination . ECO plus Sunset fishing/cruising I has been a big request . And it’s amazingly fun . I have done weddings and funerals as well . Just mentioned that to verify ,,, I do it ALL respectfully. Read More

trip description for Full Day Offshore in Wrightsville Beach

We will usually run about 20 miles offshore to where the higher relief ledges and wrecks can stretch for miles. Big depth changes offshore usually mean more schools of bait and more predator fish chasing them. I like to maximize fishing time so we will usually start on the inshore edge of where the best action has been and work our way further offshore. King Mackerel are the majority of what we will catch, with Amberjack, Barracuda, Mahi and possibly a Sailfish mixing in. This trip is for those who love to be far out to sea for an extended period of time. I will clean your fish and bag the filets when we get back to the dock. Read More

We booked a trip with captain Jaime for two days in the beginning of our trip. My fiancé is an avid fisherman, and was able to pick captain Jamie‘s brain for information on the area, and he gladly shared. Captain brought us to some great spots, and there were some fish caught. We even got to fish one of the shipwrecks from the Civil War, which was amazing. We couldn’t of asked for a more hospitable and kind and knowledgeable guide for this trip.

Richard G. with Jamie R. of Wilmington, North Carolina

  • ★★★★★
My son and I had such a fun trip with Captain Jamie! He was great with my son, a patient teacher, and he navigated the area with ease. He even tried to hook us a shark! We also saw dolphins and lovely wildlife, and we caught some interesting fish. My son can’t wait to go back and is counting down the days until we see Jamie again!

Heather B. with Jamie R. of Wilmington, North Carolina

  • ★★★★★
Jordan was a great captain! By gosh, by dern, he was going to find some fish for us. Nearly defeated, he found a spot at the end of our trip. He was kind enough to let us fish a bit longer than scheduled so we could pull in a few. Thank you!

Captain G is the man! We had a blast on our trip chasing reds on soft plastics and fly inshore, hammering flounder at G's secret spot, loading up on Spanish Mackerel at the jetties, running the beaches for cobia and catching bluefish and a 6' Blacktip Shark, and then running a few miles off to try our luck on some amberjack. This trip was a wild nonstop adventure and I came away amazed at the variety of fishing opportunities Captain G can line up at the drop of a hat. There was never a dull moment and G's setup is perfect for skinny water, zipping down the coast, and fishing open water offshore. His gear is top of the line and he was super quick to re-rig tackle when needed so we were keeping lines wet. 10/10 and can't wait to fish with G again sometime soon. -Jonathan with Captain Experiences
