Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner, we will introduce you to the thrill of South Florida freshwater fishing. The main target species is Peacock Bass, but we will also give you the opportunity to catch Largemouth Bass, Snakehead, Gar, Mayan Cichlid, and more. This trip primarily involves live bait sight-fishing. Bait is included in the price, but the guest is expected to bring their own fishing rod. One can be provided at an additional cost. For an added challenge, the option to use artificial tackle will also be provided. These trips provide enough time to try numerous styles of fishing, allowing you to catch a multitude of different species. Captain Preston will change your methods up seasonally depending on what's biting. He will often start by running offshore targeting species such as Mahi Mahi, Golden Tile, Snowy Grouper, Black Belly Rose Fish, and Yellow Eye Snapper. After fishing offshore has run its course Captain Preston can point his boat back to shore and motor in a little closer to hit the reefs. We will usually stay within 2 miles of the beach where most of the bait fish and bottom fish are.
