These trips are at a discounted rate as well. No matter the conditions or the type of trip, you will always meet up with Captain Juan at the Cangrejos Yacht Club, a private marina located 5 minutes from San Juans international airport and an easy 5-8 minutes from all the major hotels and city center. Rafa is the man. He was on time, prepared, informative and knew how to attack tarpon. It was a slow day for the catching side of things but Rafa managed to get us on fish. My wife and I both landed a couple 4 to 5 lb fish and we hooked a bigger fish (12 to 15lb) that gave us a jumping show but came unhooked at the boat. We got to meet Bob the pelican as an added treat. A great day and I can confidently refer Rafa as a good man to fish with

Captain Angel and his crew mate were fantastic they worked very hard to put us on fish but it didn’t work out. One high point was when we returned to the marina Captan Angel spotted some Tarpon so he baited a rod and tossed it in and then let my 7 year old Grandson reel it in. He was really excited to fight that tarpon and talked about it all night. Thank you Captain Angel for your kindness.
