A stop at the bait patch is also necessary as you will be fishing your way out to the deep water; for these Swordfish trips, you will head offshore up to 30 miles. On top of chasing Swords, you can also have opportunities for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and maybe even a Marlin on this trip as well. Once you get out to their swordfish spot, your Captain will deep drop one line then drift along the ledge for up to 1 hour at a time.
