This boat is powered by a 2021 Suzuki 150hp engine. The boat is equipped with Garmin Electronics and a Minn Kota trolling motor. This fishing charter service is very family-oriented and welcomes all ages and groups. Meet up location can occasionally change depending on the day and where the best fishing is in the area, but Carlos will commonly pick up his guests from The Hive Waterfront Restaurant & Tiki in Lantana, FL. It only takes six minutes to reach the ocean from Captain Chad's dock and most of the fish we catch are within two miles offshore. Miami's warm Gulf Stream waters produce fish all year round, including Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin, Kingfish, Tuna, Amberjack, Barracuda and Sharks. The "OLD HAT" is a custom 43ft completely redone in 2004 with brand new Cummins QSM11 engines total of 1300 horsepower which makes it the quickest charter boat in the fleet cutting down the time to the fishing grounds. The boat is clean and very spacious with plenty of seating up on the bridge and downstairs in the cockpit, equipped with a new custom Release fighting chair, Livewell, Fishbox, Radar, Sonar, top of the line tackle it is truly a fishing machine.
